About Impressions

A brief history of Impressions

Impressions was formed by two members of the former J&S Rabey LTD who left in 1997. It was not long until the two came together and combined their skills to form Impressions the same year. Chris and Peter worked initially together out of hours, building up a reputation and a familiarity of working together prior to taking risk of going out on their own and forming their own business.

The two former J&S Rabey employees, started off with over 30 years of experience between them. Chris Bailey having tutored at the CoFE and Peter Collins having already trained up 3 apprentices combined their experience to form Impressions, once their former company had decided to cease trading after exactly 100 years in business (at the time the oldest building company in the island, and probably still holding that accolade to this day) Since 1997, Impressions have thrived in keeping the business' slogan 'Keeping up the Standards' in acknowledgement of their former colleagues at J&S Rabey.

Impressions will always experiment with new ways to make our customers experience as good as it can be. We have done this by updating our equipment, technology and our staff training. Impressions are members of Dulux Select and Guild of Master Craftsmen, and are also part go the TrustMark scheme. Hearing the names means you are guaranteed quality work every time.
