1997
Impressions formed with former J & S Rabey employees Peter Collins and Chris Bailey. With over 20 years experience.
1999
Impressions as a partnership moved to employing people around the turn of the century. Initially, these were members of staff previously trained by Peter Collins for his previous employer, and subsequently some trained by both him and his business partner.
2000
Impressions started training their own apprentices, funding one day a week at the college over a five year period.
2014
Another milestone for the company was the dissolving of the original partnership with Peter being the sole proprietor of the company which remains true to this day.
2020
Impressions joins the Dulux Select Decorators scheme which guarantees all Akzo-Nobel products.
2022
The company celebrates their 25th (Silver) anniversary. The celebration was spread across social platforms and was an incredible milestone to reach. A custom logo for that year was released.
2024
Impressions partners with the Guernsey Employers' Disability Charter, enabling a wider range of employees and providing jobs to those who are looking for a career with us. Truly an amazing partnership and we welcome all these people with welcome arms.
EARLY
2024
Impressions revamp their website. The old website, we'll admit, wasn't great. So... we spent many months designing a website that looked modern and helps customers see what the company is all about and help them access content and information displaying our work and services.
